Banking Pages · Last updated 30 September 2026
Banking Pages keeps your bank details, card photos and ID documents on your own phone. This page explains exactly what is stored, and the few things that leave the phone.
What stays on your phone
Everything you add: account details, passwords, security answers, photos and documents. It is encrypted with a key held in Android's hardware keystore and opens only with your PIN. There is no account to create and no server of ours that receives it.
Optional Google Drive backup
If you sign in with Google, the app saves one encrypted backup file to a hidden app folder in your own Google Drive using the drive.appdata permission. The file is encrypted on the phone with a key made from your PIN before it is uploaded. The app cannot see, open or change any of your other Drive files. It reads your Google email address only to show which account is signed in. You can delete the backup or sign out in Profile → Backup.
Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Other internet use
- Bank logos are downloaded from the bank's own website or public logo sources. Only the bank's web address is contacted.
- When you type an IFSC, that code alone is sent to Razorpay's public IFSC service to look up the branch.
- The app checks GitHub for a newer version of itself.
- Scanning uses Google's on-device document scanner from Google Play services.
Sharing
No ads, no analytics, no tracking. Nothing is sold or shared. Details leave the app only when you tap Share, Copy or Download yourself.
Deleting your data
Deleting a bank or document removes it from the phone. "Forgot PIN" on the lock screen, or uninstalling the app, erases everything on the phone. Profile → Backup → Delete backup removes the copy in your Drive.
